What Are Prayer Times?
Muslims observe five obligatory daily prayers — Fajr (dawn), Zuhr (noon), Asr (afternoon), Maghrib (sunset), and Isha (night). Each prayer has a specific time window that changes daily based on the position of the sun, which varies by geographic location and season. Prayer time calculators use astronomical formulas to determine when each prayer window opens for a given location and date.
How This Tool Calculates Your Times
This tool uses the open-source adhan.js astronomical library to calculate prayer times based on your geographic coordinates. It automatically selects the calculation method most commonly used in your region — for example, ISNA (Islamic Society of North America) for North America, Umm al-Qura for Saudi Arabia and the Gulf, or the University of Karachi method for South Asia. You can switch between Shafi, Hanafi, and Ja'fari conventions using the toggle above. All calculations run in your browser — your location is never sent to our servers.

| Isha | Night | Twilight fades (angle or fixed interval) |
All times are estimates based on astronomical calculations. Your local mosque or Islamic authority's published times take precedence. Read the full Prayer Times Guide →
